The A2 jacket was used throughout pilot history, the ribbed cuffs and waistbands helped keep the air out and therefore the jacket was pretty warm.

The original A2 was seriously slim-fit, so much so that it would barely fit anyone now as pilots back then were quite a bit slimmer.

We changed the sizing on the jacket to what it is now, the modern A2.

Please remember when ordering a size that the chest is the most important measurement, if you usually take a standard 42' jacket, you will be a standard size 42 with us also.

This is a blouson jacket with ribbing, this makes the size chart hard to understand.

For example despite a small being a 27' back it will look shorter in wear due to the ribbing pulling the back shorter and creating the look you see in the films.
